Emergency Response Patrol Officer-PG&E

As a Emergency Response Patrol at Allied Universal®, the Emergency Response Patrol is responsible for maintaining a high visibility uniformed presence, responding to a variety of emergency situations. The Emergency Response Patrol will provide assistance during acts of violence, crisis, and other incidents. Emergency Response Patrols will assist by providing first aid, conducting evacuation, and engaging threatening individuals.

Hourly Rate $40.00

Full Time 40 hrs

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Identify and respond to emergencies including in-progress acts of violence, crisis, weapons incidents, explosive incidents, natural disasters, and a wide range of issues posing a hazard to lives and/or property using the appropriate escalation of force up to and including armed response by following established protocol.Conduct surveillance operationsAssist in emergencies by securing the scene to prevent further loss or damage, advise personnel of threats and potential threats, summon emergency responders to the incident, and initiate and conduct evacuation proceduresRender appropriate first aid to injured persons and follow established protocol for reporting injuriesSafeguard and maintain highly sensitive informationMaintain proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices, and weaponsRespond to direction and/or orders from supervisory personnel, especially in the context of an active shooter, assault, or other similar situation.Move from location to location at appropriate speedsPhysically engage with a person who is threatening others

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Formal Education, Licenses, and Certifications Required

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalentMust possess a current and valid Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) Security
Officer License issued by the State of California (Guard Card)Must have a current and valid California state driver’s licenseMust have succesfully completed the PC 832 Arrest training ( a valid certification will be required to present) Must have valid Baton permit Must have valid OC and Pepper Spray permit

Additionally applicant must possess one or more of the following:


o Prior Service in any Military Occupational Specialty or related to law enforcement
o Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) in the law enforcement,
adult corrections, or firefighter field
o In the process of obtaining, or have already obtained, an Associate’s degree in law
enforcement or criminal justice related studies
o A minimum of four (4) years of experience in a security or supervisory
role
