Emergency Response Team

Summary:

Responsible for providing a highly visible and professional armed response to the property to complement existing security programs. ETR team members act as a visual deterrent, intervene and respond to all levels of security and potential emergency situations including acts or threats of violence, emergencies, and life safety threats, and mitigate incidents through early detection and/or disruption of criminal conduct or other potentially violent and undesirable activity. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies and procedures. This position requires specialized training (TBD) and physical conditioning (TBD).

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Provide protection for guests and team members Identify and respond to emergency situations including in-progress acts of violence, crisis, weapons incidents, explosive incidents, natural disasters, and a wide range of issues posing a hazard to lives and/or property using the appropriate escalation of force up to and including armed response by following established protocols Assist in providing backup to the Security team on calls that have a potential to escalate to violence Assist in emergency situations by securing the scene to prevent further loss or damage, advise personnel of threats and potential threats, summon emergency responders to the incident, and initiate and conduct evacuation procedures Render appropriate first aid to injured persons Maintain proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices, and weapons Work well with other departments and management as necessary Interact with guests and team members in a professional manner and interact with local law enforcement agencies as required Perform all duties in accordance with Golden Entertainment Security Department policies and procedures Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards Perform all other security, training or administrative duties as assigned
