Overview

$20,000 SIGN ON BONUS for FULL TIME positions for RN candidates with over 1 year of experience.  This is paid out in one lump sum in the paycheck after you’ve been employed by us for 30 days (contingent on meeting the requirements.)

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Use emergency triage protocol to intake, discharge or admit patients.Deliver stabilizing care to emergency patients of all ages as part of the larger ER team, adapting care to changes in patient’s condition as needed.Use knowledge of cultural differences to provide patient care that is sensitive to and consistent with cultural values, beliefs, and customs. Document the nursing care plan and changes in the patient's condition.Engage in other activities that will benefit patient outcomes, such as patient experience initiatives, mentoring, etc.
Qualifications

Qualifications:

Associates Degree in Nursing In NursingOne (1) Year of Nursing Experience preferredActive Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in TexasBasic Life Support (BLS)Specialty certification (ex: CCRN, CNOR, CEN) preferredPlease be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.  This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
