This position has a $20,000 sign-on bonus. This is a Full-time Night position (7pm to 7am).

Responsibilities

An Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) plays a critical role in providing immediate and high-quality care to patients experiencing urgent and life-threatening conditions. As an Emergency Room Nurse you are commonly responsible for bone setting, blood transfusions, wound care, and so much more. In this role, there is no fixed tasks, so it can be stressful but, rewarding at the same time. In our ER, you will actively communicate with the Physicians and work as a team to provide the best care for our patients.

 

A Registered Nurse in the emergency room demands an elevated level of clinical ability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure. If you love not having a fixed routine and work well under pressure, apply below.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

Current and valid state RN LicenseCurrent BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain currentCurrent ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain currentCurrent PALS (AHA) certificate and/or ENPC 30 days upon hire and maintain currentBasic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hireTrauma Nurse Core Course (TNNC) within 6 months of hire requiredMinimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; E.R. setting preferredCertified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferredBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

 

Facility Specific Requirements (facility may require items listed below):

In Paramedic Base Station ED: MICN within 12 months of hire and maintain currentEDAP certified facilities: Completion of emergency pediatric course 1 and 2 within 6 months of hireNon OB facilities: NRP (AHA) certificate 90 days upon hire and maintain current
