Emergency Room Radiologist

The Department of Radiology in the Joe R and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio, seeks an Emergency Room Radiologist for providing weekday/weekend night coverage.  This will be a full-time faculty position at Assistant Professor to Professor rank, 7 days on and 14 days off.  The faculty member will provide clinical services at University Health System, UT Medicine and affiliated facilities. Additional duties include, but not limited to, teaching medical students and supervising residents and fellows.  A proven record of accomplishment in education and service are desired. Our hospital and clinics are regional referral centers for trauma, oncology, surgery, general medicine and organ transplantation. Candidates need to be proficient in multiple modalities of imaging including ultrasound, computed tomography scan and magnetic resonance imaging.  Candidates must hold a Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic degree, be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology, hold a current Texas State Medical License or able to obtain a Texas State Medical License prior to employment.  Academic rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications.
