Responsibilities
A CommonSpirit Health ER RNTraveler is a direct clinical patient care registered nurse (RN) who provides independent patient care within their scope of practice. The nurse is highly skilled in patient care; actively enhancing core nursing skills and developing advanced nursing knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors through education and involvement in nursing activities beyond basic job requirements and responsibilities.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Minimum 3 years of recent experience as a registered nurse in an emergency services environment. ADN or Nursing Diploma required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.Required Licensure and Certifications
Current unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse from the state(s) in which he or she will be practicing. Compact state licensure required. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). Other credentials may be required based on specialty and area(s) of assignment as specified by the requesting facility, state licensure and other regulatory requirements for local, state and federal agencies.
