Emergency Technician at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Ctr-Burbank, CA. Positions available will work 12-hour shifts, Per Diem. Shifts available is Variable.

Under the general supervision of the Emergency Department Nurse Manager, Supervisor, or Patient Care Provider, performs basic emergency medical/trauma procedures and patient care as directed.  Demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to assigned age specific patient population (e.g., infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics), and participates in related continuing education.

Required qualifications:

Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement. Upon hire: California Emergency Medical Technician License or California Emergency Medical Technician Advanced License or California Paramedic License Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association  1 year of Patient care or clinical experience.
