Butler Veterinary Associates and Emergency Center is a large group practice located in Butler, PA, which is less than 1 hour north of Pittsburgh. We are able to enjoy various sports teams, 4 seasons and low cost of living. We are a busy clinic with over 50 employees and 10 doctors that provide general practice services as well as emergency services.

We are in search of a doctor who enjoys challenging cases that will keep your diagnostic, medical and surgical skills sharp while seeing both emergency and general practice appointments.  Typically, we rotate who is scheduled emergency and general practice appointments—you are not scheduled emergencies on top of your general practice appointments!  We value a work/life balance and therefore we rotate weekends. There are no on call duties. We offer mentorships to those who are in need (new graduate or just changing up your career path).

Skills and Qualifications:

Candidate must be a graduate from an AVMA accredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification. License in good standing to practice in Pennsylvania.
