The role will focus on safeguarding UBS’ digital assets (e.g., tokenized assets, digital currencies and custody) by monitoring the cybersecurity threats and risks landscape, ensuring compliance with Cyber & Information Security and Technology Risk Management policies and staying abreast of regulatory developments. The individual will act as a strategic advisor to the CISO, overseeing and continuously enhancing the firm’s cybersecurity posture and maturity level within the digital assets space.

We’re looking for a Digital Assets Lead to:

• develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and frameworks, including guidelines and procedures, for effective governance of digital assets
• provide expert oversight of cyber risk management activities, including risk identification, assessment and mitigation
• monitor risk levels and ensure appropriate controls and measures are in place to address identified risks
• stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and regulatory developments related to digital assets
• develop and maintain risk reporting mechanisms to provide senior management and the board with timely and accurate information on cyber risks
• drive the promotion of cyber security awareness across the bank
• collaborate with senior leadership and business units to promote secure adoption of digital assets initiatives
• build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at a senior level
