What you'll do in the role: #LI-FT1
• Reporting into the Head of Emerging Technology Team
• Helping to drive business results aligned with Technology innovation and modernization across key areas, primarily Cyber, AI / • GenAI and Data Science, but also
• Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Platforms, Microservices DevOps, Digital Assets, DLT / Blockchain, Fintech, Machine Learning, Automation
• Partnering with key stakeholders to research new technologies
• Performing technical product evaluations and facilitate adoption by partnering with business and technologists such that the firm can derive true business value
• Collaborating closely with our Labs and Tech Business Development teams to prioritize business challenges and technology investments.
• Responsibilities will include three key areas:
• Driving accelerated end-to-end technical product evaluations from idea through to seeing business value realized for select products across emerging technologies (technical expertise and project coordination).
• Fostering a collaborative environment and establishing connectivity across the Firm by disseminating emerging technology expertise and learnings.
• Developing and launching enabling capabilities and partnering with stakeholders in removing barriers to improve the overall process for technology evaluation and adoption at the firm.

What you'll bring to the role:
• Demonstrates innovative approach to problem solving with a willingness to self-learn / explore new technologies, embodies a can-do attitude, resilient to various process and technical challenges, and highly execution oriented in getting things done autonomously.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience with strong technical aptitude, a learning mindset and great communication skills
• Demonstrable hands-on experience in one or more of the technology areas described above: Cyber or Data Science is essential.
• Strong and effective communications skills (written and verbal) to engage and influence senior leadership and peers across Technology and Business globally.
• Detail-oriented, self-starter and able to work both independently and in a team environment
• Ability to lead, plan, organize, prioritize, and execute projects and tasks with minimal supervision in a rapidly changing environment with urgency (project coordination / management)
• Knowledge of building proof of concept (PoC) environments in a cloud based or on-premises lab environment
• Development knowledge of python, or other similar language for the purpose of building quick prototypes.
• Broad expertise within large financial services across enterprise infrastructure technologies (Windows, Linux, Databases, Networking, Storage, etc.).
• Understand application architecture - HW, OS/containerization, DB Application.
• Demonstrable passion for emerging technology with expertise across domains.
• Knowledge and passion for driving change within large organizations.
• Familiarity with agile frameworks and tools such as JIRA
