Emissions Testing Specialist

Seeking an intermediate to senior **Emission Testing Professional** to lead and perform air emission stack testing projects pursuant to Canadian and US EPA methods and procedures locally and abroad.

**What you will do at WSP**
+ Pursuing emissions testing opportunities in Ontario and abroad
+ Preparing quotations per WSP standard requirements
+ Liaising with clients and governments to develop testing programs
+ Managing budgets
+ Managing health and safety requirements
+ Managing training needs
+ Depending on the role, managing junior staff
+ Field testing with travel, projects ranging from 2 days to 3 weeks at a time
+ At times may be required to work long hours and/or on weekends
+ Working as part of a team possibly supervising junior staff
+ Working at heights on stack platforms, rooftops, scaffolds, man-lifts, scissor lifts, etc.
+ Climbing ladders is a requirement
+ Working outdoors in most weather conditions (-30C to 40C, rain, snow) is required
+ Chemical handling
+ Heavy equipment handling (lifting up to 50lbs required) and maintenance
+ Data processing (Excel) and report preparation (Word and PD
**What you bring to WSP**
+ Degree or diploma in chemistry, engineering, environmental sciences or related field is required
+ Demonstrated competence with Excel, Word and PDF software
+ Must have strong mechanical aptitude
+ Demonstrated work-related travel experience
+ Ontario driver’s license
+ Good driving record
+ Experience in driving a van with a trailer is a plus
