Role Overview: As an EMP Pre-Sales Engineer, you will drive the adoption and success of our EMP solution, engaging with customers and partners to leverage its advanced scaling, automation, and cost optimization capabilities for AWS EKS. Key Responsibilities: + Technical Expertise: Demonstrate deep knowledge of EMP’s elastic scaling, Kubernetes integration, and cost optimization features. + Customer Engagement: Collaborate with Platform9 Account Executives to support the sales cycle and articulate EMP’s value in multi-cloud and hybrid environments. + Solution Design: Design and present complex solutions involving EMP, focusing on scaling, automation, and cost management. + Sales Support: Assist in proposal creation, pricing strategies, and respond to RFPs with a focus on EMP. + Strategic Initiatives: Provide feedback to Product Management and R&D, shaping EMP’s development based on market needs. + Pre-Sales Support: Lead software evaluations and POCs, demonstrating EMP’s capabilities to drive sales opportunities. Required Skills and Experience: + Expertise in AWS EKS + Expertise in AWS Cloud watch + Expertise in Karpenter + Expertise with elastic scaling and automation technologies. + Proficiency in Kubernetes and its integration with scaling solutions. + Knowledge of cost optimization strategies and data management. + Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments. + Strong communication skills and experience in pre-sales activities. + Ability to demonstrate products to prospects + Run Hands On Labs + Qualify technical requirements required by prospect + Proven track record on becoming a trusted technical advisor to prospects + Prefer experience with Demo-To-Win/Tell-Show-Tell methodology + Minimum of  5+ years pre-sales engineering experience   Reporting Structure: You will report to the Field CTO About Platform9: Platform9 is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace, providing equal opportunity to all applicants.
