What You’ll Do:
Advise and Support: Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on complex employee relations matters, including grievances, investigations, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
Labor Relations: Partner with leaders to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including collective bargaining agreements. Assist in grievance mediation, arbitration, and union negotiations as needed.
Conflict Resolution: Conduct investigations into workplace concerns such as harassment, discrimination, and employee complaints, providing clear recommendations and actionable solutions.
Policy Guidance: Collaborate on the development and implementation of HR policies that align with organizational goals while fostering fairness and compliance.
Employee Engagement: Design and implement strategies to improve workplace satisfaction and engagement across diverse teams.
Leadership Coaching: Provide one-on-one coaching to managers and supervisors to strengthen their ability to lead effectively, handle sensitive employee issues, and maintain positive labor relations.
Workforce Strategies: Analyze workforce trends and provide recommendations for proactive solutions to employee relations challenges.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience & Education: Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in Employee and Labor Relations or a related HR field preferred. Expertise in Montana labor laws is highly desirable.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of labor laws, employee relations best practices, and experience in grievance handling and conflict resolution. HR certification is a plus.
Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with the confidence to navigate complex situations with professionalism and tact.
Problem-Solving: Proven ability to assess issues, recommend solutions, and balance organizational goals with employee needs.
Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Meditech, Workday, or API systems is advantageous.

Schedule: Monday - Friday
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
