Vice President, Large Market
The Vice President, Large Market is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the growth and development of new and existing clients, mentoring consulting team members, and cultivating strong partnerships with industry carriers and internal stakeholders. This role includes managing revenue between $2M and $5M while ensuring the success of consulting teams and clients. This role requires a consultative and collaborative approach and works closely with the Employee Benefits Practice Leader, Sales Leader, Employee Benefits Analytics Leader and Employee Benefits Operations Leader to foster a positive and supportive culture that rewards high performance, celebrates achievements, and promotes a creative learning environment aligned with HUB's values.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for all aspects of assigned clients, including proposing solutions and ensuring client satisfaction with support from Account Executives, Account Managers, and Financial Analysts, resulting in high client satisfaction and retention. May work in conjunction with or independent of a Producer on assigned clients.
• As a member of the Employee Benefits Leadership Team, this position will participate in meetings to stay informed about HUB Corporate and Employee Benefits business success, including, but not limited to, knowledge of financials/budgets, employee engagement, hiring and retention strategies, HUB growth objectives and strategic initiatives.

• Collaborate with the Employee Benefits Practice Leader, Sales Leader, and Employee Benefits Operations Leader to create a positive and supportive culture that rewards high performance, celebrates successes, and a creative learning environment that meets or exceeds Southwest and HUB expectations.
• Provide guidance and technical expertise to consulting team members in partnership with the Employee Benefits Practice Leader and Employee Benefits Operations Leader. This includes setting goals, defining strategies and best practices, and overseeing department-wide consulting projects and initiatives.
• Assists with client retention for other Southwest Employee Benefits teams and clients as needed.
• Assist the Employee Benefits Practice Leader and Employee Benefits Operations Leader in managing team performance, fostering a collaborative work environment, and ensuring the delivery of projects and client deliverables.
• Partner with the Employee Benefits Sales and Operations teams to develop training and education to manage prospects and new business effectively.
• Partner with Southwest Employee Benefits Producers to lead the new account acquisition process by coordinating internal resources, development of the approach strategy, and providing technical expertise. Maximize relationships in identifying new business opportunities.
• Target cross-selling opportunities with other HUB specialties (P&C, Retirement, Personal Lines).
• As directed by the Employee Benefits Practice Leader, serve as the relationship manager and subject matter expert (SME) for HUB Corporate specialty practices. Responsibilities to provide Southwest team members with updates, training, and guidance. Participate on the National Accounts team.
• Manage Carrier/Vendor Relationships as assigned by the Employee Benefits Practice Leader. Duties are managing and enhancing carrier/vendor relationships and communicating updates to Southwest team members. The objective is to influence results in positive client impact (costs, contracts, service other as applicable), participate in advisory councils, and act as a liaison for HUB Southwest for updates and communications.
• Represent HUB Southwest at industry events and conferences, enhancing the company's visibility and reputation.
• Participate and/or lead educational webinars highlighting HUB’s presence and leadership within the marketplace.
• Seek continued knowledge and stay abreast of changes in the insurance industry and other external conditions that may impact their clients. Makes appropriate recommendations to clients in response to those changes.
• Participates in targeted professional, civic, and charitable organizations to develop and nurture HUB’s image and reputation.
• Travels on company business as required.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications
• BA/BS or technical degree preferred; High School Diploma required
• Valid Life/Health Insurance Producer License
• 10+ years of experience working directly in an employee benefits consulting capacity with large group clients (1,000+ enrolled members)
• Strong business acumen, leadership, sales experience, process development and management skills
• Ability to multi-task, delegate and prioritize in a fast-paced team environment
• Must be detail-oriented, well-organized and have the ability to manage a high-volume workload with competing demands
• Ability to travel to all Southwest office locations and client sites as needed
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
