Susquehanna is seeking an Employee Benefits and HR Projects APAC Specialist to join our dynamic HR team in Sydney. In this role, you will be at the forefront of managing and enhancing our employee benefits and wellness programs across the APAC region.

 

Your technical expertise and passion for creative problem-solving will be crucial as you collaborate with teams like Recruiting and HR to stay ahead of trends and ensure our employee benefits are competitive and impactful. You will leverage your quantitative and analytical skills to continually evolve our services, making a significant impact on our employees' well-being and career satisfaction.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to be directly involved in the setup and administration of Susquehanna’s APAC benefits, conduct research, make strategic recommendations, and partner with global and local HR counterparts on projects to support our rapid growth and foster a positive work environment.

What you’ll do

 

Evaluate, design, implement, and manage benefit offerings for all of Susquehanna’s APAC offices, including Australia, PRC, Japan, Singapore, India, and other locations as we continue our growth journey.Leverage internal and external resources to benchmark and evaluate the market competitiveness of Susquehanna’s benefit offerings.Manage the benefits process for all Susquehanna’s APAC locations.Serve as the benefits point of contact for all APAC-based employees; explain plan information, address complex issues (partnering with HR Generalists where necessary), and assist with matters involving sensitive employee information.Partner with the Global Head of Benefits and Head of HR, APAC to ensure effective planning and coordinate plan renewals, assist with the preparation of educational materials, and present benefit plans to employees.Work closely with the Global Head of Benefits to ensure compliance, including testing and reporting for all employee benefits plans.Track monthly benefit costs, conduct audits, and facilitate vendor bill payment and reporting.Support HR projects as they arise, applying project management skills to ensure successful implementation.Conduct gap analysis on current offerings and make recommendations for improvements.Conduct research on market trends, competitors, and industry standards to keep our offerings competitive.Manage vendor relationships and ensure effective collaboration.Gather and review data and analytics to inform decision-making and improve employee benefits and well-being programs.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field (preferred) or equivalent on-the-job experience.Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Employee Benefits or HR (required) with international exposure (preferred).Ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive employee and company information.Creative, strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to solve problems.Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex information clearly.Experience in building and maintaining vendor relationships.Project management skills and experience supporting HR projects.Ability to gather, review, and analyse data to make informed decisions.Self-driven, creative problem solver with a proactive approach.Collaborative with strong stakeholder management skills, both globally and locally.Research ability to stay informed about market trends and industry standards.Ability to adapt to rapid growth and balance business-as-usual tasks with new initiatives.Positively impact culture and benefits package, with a high degree of trust and expertise
