AssuredPartners of Arizona is seeking Life and Health licensed seasonal Employee Benefits Counselors, bilingual fluent in both Spanish and English preferred, to support our team during 4th Quarter Renewals!
The Employee Benefits Counselor assists clients’ employees with enrollment, benefit questions, and day-to-day customer service by partnering with our clients to identify and understand benefit needs. This opportunity will be an integral part in ensuring employees have a higher understanding of benefits knowledge and plan offerings.
This is a remote opportunity, Monday to Friday 8AM to 5PM Arizona Time Zone. Contract length is expected to be 10/7/2024 to 11/22/2024 with flexibility for potential ongoing assignments.

What You'll Do Follows company procedures with respect to all essential duties and responsibilities of the job.Speak with client employees and HR contacts by phone concerning employee benefit related questions regarding the employee benefit programs for open enrollment, including group medical, dental, vision, life, disability, Health Savings Accounts, Flexible Spending Accounts, and retirement accounts. Enter client employee enrollment data into internet-based Human Resource Information System (HRIS) using client specific procedures.Confirm current employee elections and review each election with the employee to explain any changes that may have occurred (carrier, plan design, network, etc.)Review benefit communication material for accuracy and completeness.Apply forethought through needs analysis to increase health plan retention.Apply analytical skills to ensure benefit plans elections for clients and their employees remain in compliance with guidelines.Resolve client employee issues and concerns immediately Assists client employees with benefits enrollment process. Other duties as assigned.Travel is expected to be negligible in this role.
