HUB International is seeking to add a Data Analyst to our growing TOIC platform in our Cincinnati office! This is an entry-level role in our consulting team that will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis on medical and pharmacy claims and utilization to identify trends and key indicators that result in actionable plans for clients. The Data Analyst position is a hybrid working arrangement in our Kenwood office, reporting to our Analytics Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Providing reporting used by clients to understand how their health care costs and utilization are tracking relative to expectations

Analyzing health care claims data to provide clients with an understanding of what is driving their costs and what actions they might need to take in to manage their health care plans

Coordinating annual processes across TOIC functions that relate to annual health care planning and renewals for clients

Collaborating with internal and external partners to understand and address specific questions and needs of our clients

Jumping in and supporting other team members to ensure all the work gets done on time

Over time, employees are expected to develop expertise in health care insurance and the industry as a whole – and HUB supports their education in pursuing industry certifications

DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

4-year degree from an accredited university

Strong mathematical and organizational skills – a high comfort level with supporting your point of view with quantitative information.

Strong oral and written communication skills

An interest in working with clients in a professional environment

Demonstrated collaboration and leadership

An entrepreneurial spirit, doing what it takes to serve our clients effectively

Desire to win and go above-and-beyond for your clients and co-workers

Curiosity and willingness to ask questions and seek to understand

Passion for details

Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Experience with business intelligence tools and/or computer programming skills are a plus

Department Account Management & Service

Required Experience: Less than 1 year of relevant experience

Required Travel: Negligible

Required Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
