Responsibilities include:

Identifying and developing prospects and appropriate markets to produce new business accounts in accordance with agency and individual goals.Prospecting by making cold calls, networking with decision makers, and building relationships through community involvement and related activities.Pursuing growth and business penetration goals by making compelling sales presentations to prospective and existing clients.Identifying, developing, and maintaining professional relationships with clients, prospective clients, centers of influence in the community and insurance company personnel.Providing technical expertise and professional proposals and presentations on Benefits products and services offered.Positively interacting with agency team members to ensure client-focused solutions and services are delivered, including team mentoring and coaching.Obtaining and maintaining required insurance licenses.

You’re Great At

You should have at least 2 years of professional sales experience with a proven record of building a book of business. Successful candidates will have experience in sales involving valuable business expertise and highly relational client engagement. You'll have a strong drive for success with solid interpersonal and teamwork skills, and the ability to network and maintain long-term, high-quality relationships with clients, business contacts, and colleagues.

Department Sales

Required Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience

Required Travel: Up to 25%

Required Education: High school or equivalent
