Position Summary
This position supports The Stash, Mt Bachelor’s Employee Service Outlet. The Stash provides our employees a center to pick up uniforms and passes, answer questions, and administer their available perks! The right applicant is a fun-loving professional with excellent guest service skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. This position is Full-time from October through May and part-time from June through September. The right candidate will be an ambassador of Mt. Bachelor, modeling and sharing the Mt Bachelor Staff Culture with our guests and employees. You must uphold the most professional image while continually striving to serve your fellow staff members and help fuel the passion for our mountain.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities
Distribute uniforms and nametags to all Mt. Bachelor employees and some volunteer staff, ensuring they can maintain a professional image.
Track the issue and return of all uniform items using the Mt. Bachelor Uniform agreement and appropriate software program.
Oversees the laundry of Mt. Bachelor uniforms to ensure timely and appropriate recorded cleaning of all uniform items, including the inventory and ordering of laundry supplies.
Educate employees on damaged and lost item policies.
Prepare uniforms for donation or other non-front-line uses by organizing and making efficient use of different storage spaces.
Print and administer employee passes and maintain updated employee-dependent information.
Assist employees and managers in troubleshooting areas of the company's HRIS (Workday).
Perform data entry and reporting in relevant POS & HR systems.
Administer a wide variety of employee perks (Ski & Bike Exchange, Product Testing Coupons, Bachelor Bucks, etc.).
Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information such as wage data and other personal material.
Assist in planning and carrying out employee parties/staff functions, some of which require occasional evening hours to be worked.
Maintain current knowledge of mountain operations and programs to provide accurate, up-to-date information regarding Mt. Bachelor policies, expectations, perks, and events.
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Assist employees with paperwork and onboarding as needed.
Enthusiastically jump into other duties as assigned.
Secondary Function
Assist with staff events; including but not limited to orientations and staff parties.
Assist with general duties in the uniform department.
Assist in any specific duties assigned by other Human Resources employees.
Assist in other departments when needed, including outdoor departments.
Specific Job Skills
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
1-2 years of office/clerical and/or retail experience or immediately transferrable skill set.
Proficient user of a variety of computer systems.
Technical: Proficient with Microsoft Office and experience using basic office machines, and ability to quickly learn new software, Proficient in POS systems.
Physical Capabilities: Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
Additional: Strong sense of confidentiality, exceptional communication, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate is highly productive, calm in a fast-paced workplace, professionally assertive and is creative, and adaptable when necessary.
Interpersonal Contacts
This position is very high contact with our staff and the Resort Leadership Team. Has contact with every staff member on the mountain, as well as external guests and business associates.
Specific Job Skills
License/Certifications: Current and valid Driver’s License Required.
Technical: An understanding of all the equipment and practices used by custodial staff. An understanding of best practices for cleaning and scheduling. Use of all cleaning equipment, including, but not limited to: Kaivac cleaning system machines, carpet extractor, vacuum cleaners, brooms, mops, shovels, and cleaning supplies.
Physical Capabilities: The ability to work in a variety of temperatures and have the physical fitness to walk across snow-covered surfaces in low light conditions (night). Must be capable of performing strenuous work in inclement weather conditions. The physical capabilities to perform duties of Lodge Services: vacuuming, sweeping, lifting, shoveling snow, restroom cleaning, and any and all duties required by the position. Able to remain on feet most of the day.
Computer use: Knowledge of Microsoft Office is required. Excel is preferred. Strong verbal communication.
Education/Related Experience
Minimum education required: High school or equivalent.
Minimum time in related position: 6 months experience in office administration. Experience in a guest service-oriented environment and either administrative or Human Resource function preferred.

Current Hiring Rate: $19.60/hour (hourly/non-exempt role).
