Overview of Your Role:
The Employee Experience Business Partner (EXBP) provides strategic HR guidance to management and employees, assists with talent management initiatives, and promotes a positive organizational culture. The EXBP must maintain a thorough understanding of business priorities and build trusted relationships with a diverse range of internal stakeholders. Acting as a liaison between the business and Employee Experience, this role offers guidance on all aspects of the employee life cycle, including, but not limited to, employee relations, people strategy, talent acquisition, engagement and retention strategy, succession and workforce planning, performance management, compensation, organizational development, and talent development.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities
+ Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business goals. Act as a trusted advisor to ensure that people-related initiatives support the overall objectives of the organization.
+ Leverage HR analytics to identify trends, and areas of opportunity, and develop actionable plans.
+ Build strong relationships with leaders at all levels of the organization. Provide guidance and support on HR-related matters to ensure effective leadership and team performance.
+ Provide expert advice and support to managers and employees on various employee issues including mediating and resolving employee conflicts and performance issues fairly and effectively.
+ Collaborate with Talent Development to implement training programs that address skill gaps and promote career advancement.
+ Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and Broadview policies and procedures.
+ Conduct regular assessments of employee engagement and organizational culture, recommending interventions as needed.
+ Partner with leaders on performance management items including encouraging goal setting and ongoing feedback and communication.
+ Conduct exit and stay interviews, when appropriate.
+ Collaborates with the Talent Acquisition team on recruitment efforts for assigned departments and participates in leadership interviews.
+ Partners with Employee Relations, executing recommendations based on findings of investigations and assisting as needed with conducting investigations.
+ Maintains an ongoing knowledge of legislation impacting HR activities; identifies compliance gaps within HR functionality and recommends remedial actions as appropriate.
+ Participate on special projects and assignments based on business needs.
Credentials, Experience and Skills:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Development, Education, Organizational Psychology, Human Resource Management or related area, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
+ Minimum of six (6) years of experience in multiple HR disciplines with at least two (2) years of experience as an HR Generalist supporting a specific client group.
+ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels within the organization.
+ Strong coaching and mediation skills, and experience coaching both staff and managers.
+ The ability to earn trust to influence and inspire behavior toward a collaborative outcome; develop strong trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results.
+ Experience with public speaking, including delivering presentations and training required.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint as well as HR Technology products (HRIS, ATS, databases, payroll solutions) required.
+ Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple partners to positively affect outcomes at the team, organization, and employee level.
+ Demonstrated ability to work with and maintain confidential information. Exceptional communication (oral, written, auditory) and interpersonal skills.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Good problem-solving ability.
+ Knowledge of federal/state HR laws and compliance regulations, along with NCUA regulations and Credit Union policies.
+ SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification or HRCI certification (PHR, SPHR) preferred.
+ Ability to travel to branches and corporate office locations.
Starting Compensation: $72,182-$88,423 annually, plus a competitive benefits package.
