Employee Health Nurse - 853001
Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide services based on the physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and other related criteria appropriate population in his/her assigned area Maintains required core competencies. Complies with set Policies and Procedures (i.e. name tag, dress code, parking, smoking, etc.) Serves as a resource for clinical staff in employee health issues and GCRMC policies and procedures. Responds to requests for information/assistance in a timely manner. Maintains house wide Employee Health policies and assures review/revision annually. Adheres to infection control practices. Manages and control fiscal resources within department budget and according to hospital guidelines. Directs the operation of hospital employee health program. Maintains and keeps current all employee health files. Directs employee exposure program according to regulation Works with Medical Director to assess risks related to individual exposure situations. Maintains appropriate exposure documentation. Conducts post-offer history and physical interview with new employees, determines immunizations status, orders appropriate pre-employment testing. Directs program for annual physical testing of all employees. Chairs the Wellness Team Maintains active role in the facility’s Workers Compensation Program. Maintains active role in the facilities Employee Assistance Program. Supervises employees on Modified Duty Program.
