**Overview** As our Employee Health RN at CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson, you will help our employees by providing clinical nursing care so they can help heal our community. Every day you will work with our employees to maintain a healthy and safe environment for them to work in. You will be expected to assist with coordination of Workforce Safety insurance and claims, new hire employee health related onboarding, and Infection Disease outbreak management. To be successful in this role, you must have a genuine compassion for your patients’ well-being and understand the role you play in helping our employees and new hires feel at ease. If you are committed to social justice, health equity, and prepared to deliver care in new, innovative ways, you belong with us. **Responsibilities** + Assists in the creation and maintenance of regulatory and compliance plans and processes including the Respiratory Protection Plan, Emergency Management Plan, Exposure Control Plan, and CHI Risk Incentive Plans. + Assists with Joint Commission and CMS preparation and inspection documents and action plans as requested. + Participates on various committees, providing insight and communicating further as necessary, including the Emergency Preparedness Committee, Safety Committee, Infection Control Committee, and more. + Coordinators Worker’s Compensation program, acting as a liaison between injured employees and Workforce Safety and Insurance, coordinating return-to-work program, and maintaining injury records. + Maintains OSHA records in real time and reports associated data to relevant committees and parties. + Oversees and administers employee health functions, including infection control investigations, respiratory fit testing, employee immunizations, policy and procedure development, employee health records, and more. + Investigates and resolves current or potential safety issues to prevent employee injury or illness. + Provides insight and expertise on employee health issues to leaders, team members, departments, and committees as requested. **Qualifications** **Required Education for Staff Job Levels** + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing + 3+ years of experience in an RN role **Required Licensure and Certifications** + Registered Nurse: North Dakota. + American Heart Association BLS-CPR, within 30 days of hire. **Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + Critical thinking, problem-solving, excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer proficiency, and willingness to learn new software programs and web-based applications. + Must be able to communicate effectively in written and spoken English. + Must be proficient with computers and computer applications used in the healthcare setting. **Ppreferred Qualifications** + Previous experience in Occupational Health preferred While you’re busy impacting the healthcare industry, we’ll take care of you with benefits that include health/dental/vision, FSA, matching retirement plans, paid vacation, adoption assistance, and more! **Pay Range** $30.62 - $44.40 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
