Employee Uniform Room Attendant

The rate listed on this role is a starting rate with the ability to fluctuate depending on relevant work experience.

The Uniform Room/Wardrobe Attendant is an integral part of the Uniform Room and must have the ability to work closely with Guests, and all associates to ensure all associates and guests receive their garments in a timely fashion. The uniform room attendant is also responsible for ensuring the proper fit of all garments. The uniform room attendant also contributes to the operation of the uniform room by participating in the creation of a high-quality and respectful work environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Ensuring that associates / guests are properly fitted with the correct uniform items. Operating a sewing machine and blind hemmer. Sewing, hemming, alterations, and placing buttons on garments. Keeping the Uniform Room clean and well organized. Helping other team members as needed. Communicating and addressing associates’ and guests’ concerns as they arise. Labeling and communicating inventory quantities Tracking tasks and problem-solving The Uniform Room Attendant is accountable for performing accurate work in accordance with Nemacolin standards. He/She is also responsible for accurate measurements of all guests and associates with some sewing that includes hemming, mending, repairing. The uniform room attendant is also responsible for interacting with guests and associates in a professional and courteous manner. Uniform room attendants must have the ability to problem solve and track the prioritization of tasks with minimal supervision. Other job duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Must be able to speak English. Excellent attention to detail, initiative, and passion. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision. Able to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays. Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

These skills and abilities are typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as through recreational experience.
