Job Summary:
You are expected to adhere to the company’s mission, vision and value statements. Be knowledgeable of the company’s management systems, policies and initiatives for Hospitality, Environmental, and Health and Safety. You have specific responsibilities within these areas and are expected to understand them. Responsible for the overall operation of the employee village: dormitory housing for up to 525 people, laundry facilities, and recreation hall. Assists Recreation Department in setting up events when necessary.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepares operation of employee housing at the beginning of the season by ordering supplies, taking opening inventories and submitting maintenance lists for repairs needed.
Assigns housing to employees via StarRez system upon arrival and issues linen supplies, keys, etc.
Prepares schedules for cleaning and office hours.
Supervises and works with the employee village attendants who perform daily custodial & grounds keeping duties throughout Employee Village. This includes a daily walk through of the facility.
Maintains and distributes mail for employees.
Performs checkout of departing employees to ensure return of all items issued and satisfactory conditions of quarters.
Closes Employee Village at end of season, cleaning all facilities and stripping, sealing and waxing all floors. Prepares closing inventories and final reports
Willing to be available for lockouts, phone messages, emergencies, etc. from 8:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M.
Conducts rounds as needed to ensure that no unnecessary disturbances or infractions of rules are taking place. Works closely with Security in protecting life and property.
Implements the company's Hazard Communication program for the employee village by ensuring safe use of the cleaning/ chemical products.
Responsible for cleaning up situations where an unusual amount of bodily fluid has spilled. Personal protective equipment and training provided. Hepatitis B vaccine available.
Works with employee residents to mediate disputes and/or housing or maintenance problems
Ability to lead off-site activities such as hikes, tours, trips to town, etc.

Job Qualifications:
Prior experience in housekeeping, recreation, or an office setting preferred Prior supervisory experience Successful completion of MVRKnowledge of Outlook email and Microsoft Office: Word and Excel
Able to learn new computer systems and programs
Should possess good communication skills to deal effectively with employees, supervisors, and management personnel
Ability to accurately maintain housing records, handle money and perform administrative functions.
Should be able to handle Manager-Employee relations on a confidential level
Knowledge of basic knowledge of housekeeping, maintenance and cleaning techniques

The expected pay range is $46,000. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
