JEVS Human Services currently has an exciting opportunity as an Employment Advisor for our The Choice is Yours program.  The Choice is Yours (TCY) is an innovative program for first-time, nonviolent felony drug offenders facing one to two year prison sentences.  Upon successful completion, the program offers graduates the opportunity to have their criminal records expunged, removing the stigma of a criminal record. Job Duties : Provide case management to clients in the program that emphasizes education and employment; perform home visits and work site visits when necessary.  Develop, prepare and utilize the Individual Life Plan (ILP); provide regular, ongoing individual counseling to address barriers, encourage achievement of goals and ensure retention of clients. Match and link clients to the best and most appropriate employment opportunity. Perform outreach to special needs clients and encourage participation. Assist with additional instructor responsibilities including, but not limited to, facilitating orientation and job readiness group sessions as needed
