THE ROLE

Employment Advocate 3pqe+ to cover Employment Tribunal hearings, from case management preliminary hearings to multi-day full-merits hearings, both in-person and by video.

The position can be based from any one of the firm's offices. However, it should be noted that the position will involve travel to cover hearings throughout the UK, although travel will be limited wherever it is possible to do so.

As an Employment Advocate you will manage a mixed caseload of employment work:

Primarily covering employment tribunal hearings, including:

Multi-day discrimination, whistleblowing and detriment cases Unfair dismissal and wages casesContentious preliminary hearings (jurisdiction, disability, applications etc.)To a lesser extent, case management preliminary hearings Employment law advice to a wide range of clients, including unfair dismissal, disciplinary, grievances, whistleblowing, discrimination, detriment claims and equal payAssist with the supervision and management members of the team with their caseloads as appropriateDraft and prepare documents, tribunal responses, bundles, witness statements and reportsDraft articles and legal updatesAssist with business development initiatives including training and networking
