17.09-18.20 per hour | Canandaigua, NY, USA | Hourly | Full Time The Arc Ontario Employment and Training Center Coordinator Salary: $17.09 - $18.20 Position Overview: The Employment and Training Center Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a center focused on job exploration, vocational rehabilitation, and specialized training using virtual reality (VR) technologies. This includes designing, implementing, and managing VR-based training programs tailored to individuals with disabilities, ensuring they align with industry standards in healthcare and hospitality. The Coordinator provides case management, career coaching, and skills assessment, tracks client progress, and collaborates with local employers to identify job opportunities. They also manage the center's equipment, handle documentation requirements, and promote the services within the community, all while ensuring the program's effectiveness, budget, and compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities + Develop and implement comprehensive training programs utilizing virtual reality (VR) technologies to simulate real-world environments in a wide variety of employment settings. + Provide individualized career coaching and support for job seekers, including resume development, interview preparation, and soft skills training. + Work with clients on goal setting, tracking progress, and adjusting training plans as necessary to support their vocational rehabilitation journey. + Oversee the daily operations of the Employment and Training Center, ensuring the equipment is maintained and up-to-date.
