Employment Associate
Description We are on the hunt for a proficient Employment Associate to be a part of our law firm client's team. The role is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and you will be working in the legal industry, specifically dealing with employment law. The job involves providing counsel to clients on employment-related issues, representing them in litigation matters, and conducting workplace investigations among other duties. Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients on various employment matters, helping them understand their rights and obligations as per federal and state laws • Take charge of representing clients in employment litigation matters such as wrongful termination cases, discrimination claims, and wage disputes • Draft, scrutinize, and negotiate employment contracts, policies, and handbooks to ensure they are legally sound and in the best interest of the client • Conduct thorough and impartial workplace investigations as required, providing a comprehensive report on the findings • Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure high-quality service and support to clients • Stay updated with the latest legal developments and trends in employment law to provide informed guidance to clients • Use Case Management Software and Document Management systems to effectively manage multiple cases and deadlines • Contribute to the growth of the team by sharing your expertise in Employment Law, Employment Litigation, and Labor Law • Use your skills in Legal Research and Legal Writing to strengthen the team's operations • Ensure all actions and advice are compliant with the Bar Admission and Bar Association guidelines.
