ABOUT THE ROLE:
This staff position is responsible for assisting the people being supported via Site Based Pre-Voc through the implementation of their individualized programmatic valued outcomes.
Essential Job Functions:
+ Distribute appropriate work tasks to all individuals within the area.
+ Act as the first line instructor as to how to perform tasks and assist only as needed.
+ Implement the staff action plan as written and document on that implementation in a contemporaneous manner using the electronic health record, in accordance with department policy.
+ Observe, reinforce and report pre-vocational work behaviors to the appropriate supervisor in a timely manner.
+ Participate in plan development by providing input and feedback on the implementation of pre-vocational goals.
+ Responsible for job set-up and quality control according to specifications.
+ Keep appropriate written records on attendance, productivity, pre-vocational goals, etc.
+ Provide support, as needed and/or assigned, to location.
Qualifications:
+ Valid NYS Drivers license
+ High school diploma and three years of experience working with people with developmental disabilities
