The Employment Professional will play a key role in both seeking and maintaining employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Employment Professional + Salary:       $20.23/hour + Job Type:  Full Time + Location:   La Plata Duties Include but not limited to: + Identify employment opportunities with the people supported based on individualized assessment information through assessments and inventories. + Conducts individualized job development by speaking with employers in the community about the person's abilities and desires to obtain employment. + Assist participants in preparing for interviews, completing job applications, and developing job-related skills. + Develop positive relationships with businesses, community agencies, other departments, and outside vendors. + Conduct assessments to identify accommodations) for each person. + Provide discovery, job development, follow along support and ongoing job supports to the people supported at their places of employment, including job coaching and advocacy as needed. + Provide transportation to and from places of employment, as needed. + Complete accurate and timely daily documentation of all employment services.
