Position Summary:

The primary function of the Employment Recruiter will be doing outreach in the community to develop relationships with employers, universities, and associations to increase employment opportunities for clients. The person in this position will be responsible for the delivery of vocational and educational guidance to clients participating in the program. Essential Job Functions include those listed below.

Essential Job Functions:

Develop new and existing relationships with large and small employers and become familiar with their products and human resource needs using a businesslike approach. Responsible for providing follow-up counseling of clients in the workplace and staying connected with participants and employers to resolve problems proactively. Assist employers in revising standards that exclude applicants from jobs. Demonstrate to employers the cost-effectiveness and profitability of employing chronically unemployed by identifying jobs those workers could perform. Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision, and goals of WestCare Foundation; and Perform any other duties as assigned.
