SummaryThis position is accountable for the transactional processing for the applicant /employee lifecycle within the HR database. Also, responsible for effective and efficient data maintenance of the HR database and adherence to Company policies and legal compliance. Incumbent will direct all HR process following candidates' acceptance of offers.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities1. Ensures all recruitment/hire process in the Company Hiring Manual are implemented and followed. Performs audits on a regular basis reporting results to management.
2. Ensures all new hire paperwork requirements are consistently met. Follows established retention policies and performs audits to ensure data integrity reporting audit results to management.
3. Ensures all personnel activity of the associate is entered into the HR database. Performs regular audits.
4. Performs internal AAP compliance audits (employee life cycle).
5. Serves as the focal point for any external audits with regards to reporting and data.
6. Serves as the focal point for position control.
7. Utilize all HR reporting tools, i.e., manpower, headcount and required reports, to perform audits and analysis and reports results to management.
8. Recommends new methods to improve the effectiveness of Company processes to HR management.
9. Acts as lead by providing direction to administrative/clerical staff and provide training on an as needed basis.
10. Administers the Employment Verfication Process.
Minimum Education Experience RequirementsAA degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field or equivalent related experience plus 6-7 years related work experience. Knowledge and experience of HRIS; 3 years' experience using a HR/Payroll database system. Proven success in handling administrative responsibilities. Demonstrated ability for accuracy, meeting deadlines, supervision of administrative personnel, and experience in multi-tasking, ability to work with minimal supervision. May need to travel to other facilities and plants for meetings and/or Company business.
Experience PreferredThis is a premium pay job requiring an individual with exceptional analytical skills who can navigate our SAP data base and extract/filter data for various reports. Candidate must be highly proficient in Microsoft Software/Excel and able to build spreadsheet formulas and link to other spreadsheets. Knowledge of Kronos-SAP is a major plus. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for auditing the following to ensure accuracy: I-9 process, recruitment/hiring process, AAP reporting, correct data entered into data base, etc.
Qualified candidate will have 3 years + human resources experience. High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree a plus.
