This position will assist in planning educational sessions, creating educational curricula and content, and delivering quality education to Paramedic students and prehospital providers. This position will be required to report to scheduled educational events regularly. This will be inclusive of but not limited to paramedic school, quarterly in-service training, new employee onboarding, and simulation lab. Duties and Responsibilities + Paramedic-level curriculum development + Working with Learning Management Software to deliver coursework and manage student performance. + Delivering hands-on practical education at LCEMS-sponsored training sessions + Paramedic school instruction + AHA Instruction in BLS, ACLS, and PALS + NAEMT Instruction if/when assigned + EVOC instruction as needed + Operating the simulation lab + Working closely with assistant instructors, EMS instructors, and field training officers to assure logistical needs are met as they relate to training and education.
