The EMS Instructor provides education and training to providers of pre-hospital care and health care professionals in related fields. This individual will be responsible for licensure, re-licensure, maintaining provider files of prehospital providers including continuing education and letters of good standing, and working closely with Illinois Department of Public Health on all aspects of licensure. This individual will also be responsible for EMS System entry testing and onboarding.

Minimum Education:
Required: High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education
Preferred: Associates Degree
Specify Degree(s): EMT Paramedic license and/or National Registry Paramedic Certification
Minimum Experience:
Required: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience
Preferred: N/A
Details: Individual should also hold ACLS provider card, and CPR card, Instructor status preferred, PALS and PEPP cards would also be preferred.
Licensure/Certifications:
Required: Licensed EMT Paramedic State of Illinois

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
