EMS Operations Lead (Electronics Manufacturing Services)

**In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Data collection, reports generation and coordination of activities with EMS to maintain smooth relationship and operation efficiency
+ Track cost reduction activities and targets for each of the EMS sites
+ Report on key performance measures, takes appropriate actions and work to resolve when performance dips below established targets
+ Implement supply chain strategies to exceed business objectives relating to cost, quality and delivery metrics
+ Participate in discussion on business reviews, measuring key performance metrics and drives for continuous improvement
+ Support timely execution on NPIs through coordination with appropriate functions ensuring all business, commercial and technology requirements are adhered
+ Review DDSS/Supply plan weekly as published by EMS and identifies/track component parts that may require premium purchase after ensuring all avenues has been exhausted
+ Validate that component parts requiring premium purchase raised by EMS corresponds to shortages as reflected in the supply plan
+ Ensure the premium price proposed is in tandem with what the open market is offering
+ Monitor inventory dollar value at key EMS sites for both Turnkey and Consignment and challenges EMS if inventory received is excess to demand per lead time
+ Based on inventory monitoring records, approves for month end carrying charges and quarterly turnkey to consignment proposal
+ Ensure that inventory is depleted on a FIFO basis, paying particular attention that consign inventory is being depleted before EMS takes new orders in
+ Work closely with the pricing lead and push back EMS on price increases when the re-pricing activity has just been completed
+ Ensure not to exceed the PPV budget allocated for the year and all key indicators are up to date and reported on time
+ Other duties as assigned or as the business requires

**For This Role, You Will Need:**
+ Good working knowledge of Electronics Manufacturing and Supporting Processes
+ General knowledge of key distributors and brokers in the region to assist with sourcing activities
+ Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle, etc.) and Microsoft office
+ Able to handle and process large amount of data accurately
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a good command of both verbal and written English
+ Integrity and courage in highlighting issues and concerns
+ Reviewing proposals and being able to articulate better solutions
+ Self-motivated and able to work with minimal direction
**Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:**
+ Relevant degree holder with minimum 3 years working experience in similar role in an electronic or contract electronics manufacturing environment
+ Experience with MS Teams/ SharePoint and Data Repository systems
+ Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
+ Ability to adapt to change
+ Occasional travel may be required
