This is a combined posting for a EMT Basic, Emergency Technician and Senior Emergency Technician. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. The Emergency Department Technician performs assigned tasks and activities according to skill level and patient needs as assessed by the RN. The ER Tech supports nursing personnel in providing nursing care to patients and assists with providing a safe, quiet, clean, organized environment for nursing care delivery. 

Emergency Department Technician performs assigned tasks and activities according to skill level and patient needs as assessed by the RN. The Emergency Department Technician supports nursing personnel in providing nursing care to patients and assists with providing a safe, quiet, clean, organized environment for nursing care delivery.

The Senior Emergency Department Technician performs assigned tasks and activities according to skill level and patient needs as assessed by the RN. The Senior Emergency Technician supports nursing personnel in providing nursing care to patients and assists with providing a safe, quiet, clean, organized environment for nursing care delivery. Works closely with all members of the emergency team to provide direct patient care to optimize positive patient care outcomes. Assists the physician and nursing staff during procedures by providing the appropriate sutures, supplies, instruments, and equipment. Maintains proper sterile technique during the procedure.

EMT Basic

Required Qualifications:

Upon hire: Montana Emergency Medical Technician Basic License Or Upon hire: Montana Emergency Medical Technician License Or Upon hire: Montana Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate License Or Upon hire: Montana Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic License  Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Successful completion of an orientation program or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Three years: pre-hospital or hospital experience.

EMT Basic, Salary Range: Missoula, MT Min: $16.50, Max: $21.59

Emergency Technician

Required Qualifications:

Upon hire: Montana Emergency Medical Technician License or Upon hire: Montana Emergency Medical Responder License or Upon hire: Montana Emergency Medical Technician Advanced License or Upon hire: Montana Emergency Medical Technician Basic License or Upon hire: Montana Emergency Medical Technician First Responder License or Upon hire: Montana Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate License or Upon hire: Montana Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic License or Upon hire: Montana Nursing Assistant Certification License Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Successful completion of an orientation program or equivalent experience. 6 months: Minimum of 6 months experience required.

Preferred Qualifications: 

6 months Pre-hospital or hospital experience.

Emergency Technician, Salary Range: Missoula, MT Min: $16.50, Max: $23.40

Senior Emergency Technician:

Required Qualifications:

Coursework/Training: EMT or Coursework/Training: CNA Coursework/Training: Successful completion of an orientation program or equivalent experience. Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Upon hire: Montana Emergency Medical Technician License or Upon hire: Montana Emergency Medical Responder License or Upon hire: Montana Emergency Medical Technician Advanced License or  Upon hire: Montana Emergency Medical Technician Basic License or Upon hire: Montana Emergency Medical Technician First Responder License or Upon hire: Montana Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate License or Upon hire: Montana Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic License or Upon hire: Montana Nursing Assistant Certification License  Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 4 years recent experience as an Emergency Technician or CNA

Senior Emergency Technician, Salary Range: Missoula, MT Min: $16.50, Max: $24.35
