The EMT Trainee will assist staff with patient or non-patient duties as assigned while attending an approved EMT Basic Course. _​_ **Essential Job Functions** + Attends an approved BSMH approved EMT Basic course while employed. + Complete weekly assignments as assigned (e.g., maintains proper reports and records, observes the dispatch center, and shadows leaders, maintenance for vehicle and equipment, orders and stocks supplies, etc.). + Participates in mandatory trainings (e.g., ambulette training, Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC), first aid, etc.) + Partners with EMT Basic for patient transports.
