PositionDescription:
AdministersFirst Aid to injured or ill employees, proactively analyze tasks for potentialsafety issues,
participatein the worker’s compensation process, and implement a site wellness program.
EssentialDuties and Responsibilities:
+ Provide triage, first aidand/ or referral to outside medical provider, if needed.
+ Maintain all records ofcare given to employees.
+ Maintain first-aid kits,inventory supplies, restock and clean equipment used in the care of employees.
+ Contact outside medicalproviders as needed to schedule appointments, and if needed restrictionclarification, or arrange further treatment.
+ Train employee volunteersin First Aid, CPR, AED, Blood Borne Pathogen training.
+ Provide daily end of shiftreports to the Safety and Leadership team.
+ Participate in weekly SiteCase Management Review meetings with HR, Risk Management and Safety.
+ Provide analysis of allincidents on a monthly basis coupled and make recommendations for riskreductions on work place injuries.
+ Participate in incidentinvestigations as needed.
+ Develop a return to workPhysical Demands Assessments for each task.
+ Participates infacilitation of random drug testing.
+ Learn every job functionin facility to fully understand the ergonomic risk factors.
+ Frequent floor time isrequired to better under the needs of operations.
MinimumRequirements:
+ 1 + years of experience asa full time EMT responding to emergency calls.
+ Must have current andvalid EMT Certification from the Department of Health for the state you arepracticing in
+ Current BLS card.ACLS/PALS per contract requirement.
+ Proficiency in MicrosoftOffice.
+ Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
+ High School Diploma or GEDequivalent required.
+ Full command, verbal andwritten, of English Language.
+ Must meet all of Amergis' pre-employmentscreening requirements.
