HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Sunstates Security is hiring full-time, part-time and flex Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) for a client site in Decatur, IL.  The EMT is responsible for the safety and security and emergency response at the assigned site in accordance with Sunstates objectives.  All days and shifts are available, including weekends, with a pay rate of $23.00/hr paid weekly.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administer first aid treatment and other emergency care to sick or injured persons and assist with facilitating the transport to medical facilities as neededProvide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activitiesRespond to emergency calls from a dispatcher such as requests for medical assistance following emergency response proceedingsProvide emergency medical care and other treatment pursuant to EMT certificationDetermine the nature and extent of illness and injuryReport all medical incidents, accidents or emergencies including completing a Daily Activity Log for every shift, describing all activitiesComplete an Incident Report documenting any medical response calls on client propertyDetermine procedures to be followed for emergency first aid or assistanceConduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeterREQUIREMENTS:

Valid State Certified EMT Basic, Intermediate, or Paramedic licenseValid CPR/1st Aid CertificationIntermediate computer skills and basic technical knowledgeA Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Shift Supervisor must read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives. 

Education Requirements (Any)

High School diploma or equivalent

Certification Requirements (All)

Drivers License
CPR/1st Aid
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) License
