Our mission is described simply as: "A Relentless Pursuit of Excellence.” The company has become renowned for its collaboration with owners of the air-cooled Porsche 911 in pursuit of bespoke restorations. **End of Line Technician** **Position Summary** Under direct supervision, the **End of Line Technician** shakes down Singer vehicles, ensuring repairs of issues found during test drives, diagnosis of rattles and squeak noises, the building of three-piece wheels, mounting/balancing of tires, and the quality final assembly of vehicles in a manner that demonstrates, “Everything is Important.” **Essential Functions** + Works with Lead and Production Supervisor to ensure production demands meets the specified production schedule + Test drives and final assembly of the vehicles + Assembles components necessary for installation on vehicles, such as three-piece wheels, mounting and balancing tires, assembling door panels, etc. + Performs operational procedures according to required engineering specifications + Diagnoses of rattles and squeak noises and build issues + Documents case of failure and correction to satisfy build understanding + Compiles, analyzes, and presents final vehicle and pre-delivery inspection data for creating countermeasures, completing problem solving activities, and preventing re-occurrence + Diagnoses drivability issues + Removes and repairs vehicle components + Cleans and maintains service equipment, including the service area + Reports any material shortages and/or part defects to Lead and Production Supervisor + Works in a cross-functional team environment as a strong team player and demonstrate ability to work with other functional groups to achieve company-wide goals + Assists other team members as necessary including but not limited to training new hires + Assists in special projects as required + Performs other duties as assigned **Qualifications** Required Education//Experience: + High school diploma or equivalent + Two (2) plus years of work experience in automotive related field + Experience with professional automotive, motorsport, or high-end restoration Preferred Education/Experience and/or Certifications: + Bachelor’s degree or certification and/or technical automotive program graduate?? + Experience in aerospace or automotive manufacturing + Prior experience in a rapid growth environment + Prior experience or familiarity with Porsche vehicles (early models)? + Experience with motorsport car set up **Skills/Abilities and Attributes** + Perfectionist mindset, very high attention to detail, and a passion for cars + Competency in working with basic hand tools, cutting tools, air tools, and electric grinders. + Team oriented, with a strong ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment to multiple deadlines + Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently + Excellent time management with an ability to balance multiple projects and timelines and to meet deadlines + Effective written and verbal communications skills; ability to express ideas clearly and actively listen to others + Team oriented, with a strong ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment to multiple deadlines + Positive attitude and strong work ethic + Excellent time management skills with the ability to balance multiple projects and timelines while meeting deadlines **Physical Demands/Work Environment** + Must be able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move with up to 10 lbs. of force + Must be able to lift 25 lbs. regularly with occasional lifting of 50 lbs. + Must be able to comprehend work instructions + Must have ability to speak clearly, distinctly and hear and be heard and understood in person and by telephone + Must be able to work safely around a vehicle + Must be able to work an early schedule and overtime as needed + Must be able to wear appropriate PPE in the production environment + Must be able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move with up to 25 lbs. of force + Must be able to continuously perform repetitive tasks and possess manual dexterity? + Must be able to work safely around a vehicle + Must maintain a valid California Driver’s License with a good driving record and appropriate insurance limits and/or be insurable under the Singer’s company vehicle insurance policy **Compensation** The starting pay range for this position is between **$29.00 - 40.00 per hour** .
