Job Description:
The End-user Technology Experience Engineer is an onsite position that is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the end-user computing environment and services that enable a seamless and productive experience for employees. The role involves working with various technologies, platforms, and tools to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of the end-user devices, applications, and systems.
Job Responsibilities
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-user issues related to hardware, software, and peripherals.
Manage and administer the end-user computing infrastructure, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
Deploy, configure, and update end-user devices, applications, and systems using various tools and methods.
Ensure compliance with security policies and standards for end-user devices, applications, and systems.
Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and capacity of the end-user computing environment and services.
Research and evaluate new technologies, platforms, and tools to enhance the end-user experience and productivity.
Collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of end-user computing solutions with business needs and requirements.
Document and maintain end-user computing policies, procedures, and best practices.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
At least 3 years of experience in end-user computing or IT support roles.
Strong knowledge and skills in Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS, Android, and other end-user operating systems and platforms.
Strong knowledge and skills in Microsoft, Microsoft Office 365, Teams, and other end-user productivity and collaboration tools.
Strong knowledge and skills in Active Directory, Azure AD, MECM, MDM, M365 Copilot, and other end-user computing management and administration tools.
Strong knowledge and skills in endpoint security, encryption, antivirus, firewall, VPN, and other end-user computing security tools and practices.
Strong knowledge and skills in network protocols, standards, and troubleshooting tools.
Strong knowledge and skills in scripting languages, such as PowerShell, Python, KQL, etc.
Strong knowledge and skills in imaging and building Microsoft machines.
