The Endoscopy Technician 3 will prepare and maintain the medical facility's instruments, equipment, and sterile environments necessary for procedures.

Shift: Day

Schedule - Full-Time

Must be available 10 hours per day at 4 Shifts per week.  This role covers three areas in endo  Must be available anywhere between the hours of 7:00AM to 6:00PM  Weekend and Night On-Call  1 Week-night Per Month  ! Week-end Every Two Months

Recognizes safety hazards and initiates appropriate preventative and corrective actions. Demonstrates superior knowledge in stressful and emergency situations. Assists with the flow of daily operations by readily accepting assignments/reassignments. Demonstrates awareness of and commitment to professional and leadership responsibilities within the department. Demonstrates ability to troubleshoot specialty equipment. Provides superior knowledge of basic and all advanced endoscopy procedures, devices and equipment. Primary preceptor for new & experienced staff. Presents and organizes educational sessions within the Endoscopy department. Supports and participates in departmental goals, educational programs and quality projects to improve outcomes. May perform additional duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements 

Certification - Basic Life Support upon start from AHA Experience - 2 years as an Endoscopy Technician Education - High School or equivalent; Associates Degree; The Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates - Advanced Associates Program Completion
