Endoscopy Institute of Hawaii is looking for a per-diem Endoscopy Tech/GI Tech to join our amazing team. We are willing to hire and cross-train medical assistants!
About the Opportunity
The GI Technician is responsible for the proper cleaning and high level disinfection and maintenance of all video endoscopes and other accessories used in the GI Endoscopy suites. The individual hired is responsible for delegated patient care duties by assisting the physician and staff nurse during procedures as well as other duties/assignments expected within this role such as daily preventative maintenance, monitor record keeping for equipment that has been sterilized and/or high-level disinfected.
Individuals who have experience in healthcare who are interested in taking a step into the outpatient surgery setting should apply. This is a chance to take Medical Assistant or acute care sterile processing experience and transition into an outpatient setting.
The starting pay for this role is between $20.00 to $25.00 per hour.
About the Candidate
