Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center Endoscopy Unit is currently hiring a Full Time, Day/Evening Shift, Endoscopy Technician!

Hours/Shift:

Full Time, Day/Evening Shift (36 hours); With night/weekend call rotation requirement

Job Requirements:

High School Grad or EquivalentPatient care experience; may substitute similar training from military or vocational training program

Preferred:

2 years related experienceBasic Life Support (BLS) required within 3 months of hire.

The Endoscopy Technician assists with the patient care in the Endoscopy Department. Is familiar with gastrointestinal and pulmonary diseases and assists during endoscopic procedures. Responsible for the preparation, maintenance and cleaning of equipment and supplies. Functions under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse.
