Assists the physician with all endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies, esophagogastroduodenoscopies (EGD), ERCP, flexible sigmoidoscopies, and EUS. Ensures proper cleaning and maintenance of all endoscopes and completion of all documentation logs and records. Assists the RN with patient care, including but not limited to admission of patient, setting up rooms, transporting patients, patient recovery and final cleaning of rooms. **Responsibilities:** + Assists nurses and physicians in all aspects of GI procedures.
