Job Description:

The Endoscopy Technician performs duties for all aspects of care and treatment of the patient and supports all functions related to endoscopic procedures under the direction of a Staff RN.

Performs and assists with RN/physician during endoscopy procedure. Cleans and reprocesses endoscopic equipment and instruments. Reports observations and changes in condition or behavior of the patient to the nurse. Takes and records vital signs, heights and weights, as needed. Collects specimens and delivers them to the requested area. Transports patients safely.
