Responsibilities:This is the second level of a four level job series within Community Health System's Information Technology Services (ITS), Desktop Design and Client Services department. Endpoint Solutions Engineers design, implement and support endpoint solutions within the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficiency, security and optimal performance of endpoint systems, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals. Functions in collaboration and/or under guidance from more senior team members. Interfaces with internal/external customers and stakeholders to design and implement endpoint solutions that align with business requirements, ensuring scalability, security and reliability. The Endpoint Solutions Engineer 2 demonstrates a broad level understanding of endpoint technologies, use of applications and tools and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Provides proficient technical support and troubleshooting assistance. Qualifications:
Education
High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required.Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field required.Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree and experience requirements.
Experience
2 years of Information Technology experience in a large enterprise environment required.Experience in designing, implementing, and supporting endpoint solutions in an enterprise environment preferred.Experience in Project Management preferred.Experience with cloud technologies preferred.Work experience in the healthcare industry or a healthcare setting preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
One of the following certifications is preferred:Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals, Enterprise Administrator Expert, Messaging Administrator Associate, Security Administrator Associate, Teams Administrator Associate, Teams Support Engineer Specialty, Endpoint Administrator or relatedCompTIA Certified: A+, Server+, Network+, Security+, Linux+ or related.Vmware Certified: Technical Associate, Professional or relatedNutanix Certified: Associate, Professional - End User Computing or relatedOther relevant systems/endpoint management certificationsDisclaimer:• Pay ranges listed are an estimate and subject to change.
