Energy Efficiency Engineer - ATS
Our client is a leading utility company and Applied Technology Services (ATS) division has been providing technology-based, innovative, high-value services to the company for over 40 years. ATS is a multidisciplinary team of over 120 engineers, scientists, and technicians. The ATS vision is to be a forward-thinking, technological leader providing high-value solutions and services needed across the Company. ATS high-value services also help proactively avoid future problems through solutions and methods that are standard processes in the industry. The ATS Engineering staff provides engineering, testing and analysis services, and expertise across multiple subject areas to various company organizations to identify, diagnose, and address technical problems. The team provides consultation and advice to clients to proactively avoid future problems by specifying equipment, materials, and methods that are standard processes in the industry.

ATS is partnering with the State of California to identify energy efficiency and conservation solutions. In this role, as an Energy Efficiency Engineer, youll be responsible for serving as a consultant and/or advisor to the engineering team in regard to energy efficiency for the testing of commercial HVAC equipment such as heat pumps, hot water heating, air conditioning, etc. from different manufacturers to verify energy outputs, efficiencies, etc. and that it is in alignment with the manufactures claims, as well as large scale battery storage devices, which is an area the team is starting to move into. LAbVIEW is typically utilized for all testing.
