Job Summary/Purpose
As the Customer Service Specialist, the qualified individual will support all aspects of the residential energy efficiency offerings for Entergy Texas. The position will work with other energy efficiency team members and Utility leadership to enhance and refine the current residential energy efficiency portfolio. This role will interact with a variety of internal team members and Entergy approved 3rd party contractors.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Administer residential energy efficiency programs mandated by the State of Texas and also support all regulatory filings related to energy efficiency as prescribed by the Public Utility Commission of Texas.
Partner with Entergy approved contractors and local organizations to identify energy efficiency opportunities within the Entergy Texas service area in order to achieve necessary savings targets.
Identify customer trends through detailed analysis of existing energy efficiency programs.
Accountable for maintaining current information on program status in all relevant databases.
Responsible for the conflict resolutions that affects costs or customer satisfaction and develop appropriate action plans.
Accountable for the coordination of communication of programs to both internal and external customers, and that all communication supports the requirements of Corporate Communications
Work within Entergy's safety rules and encourage others to work safely, including travel and office duties.
Communicate and cooperate in a professional manner with peers, supervision, external and internal customers to maintain a productive and safe environment.
Support Company initiatives and activities, which may include taking a leadership role for special assignments.
Support in a leadership role, logistic functions as it pertains to emergency outage responses both internally and externally.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum education required of the position:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.Minimum experience required of the position:
Customer Service Specialist II : 5 years within a customer service environment.
Customer Service Specialist III : 8 years within a customer service environment.
Customer Service Specialist, Senior: 10 years within a customer service environment.
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position:
Leader of projects, programs, or initiatives in areas such as energy efficiency and energy conservation.
Customer service experience working with both internal and external customers.
Excellent interpersonal skills along with strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to make presentations to large groups of people.
Excellent personal computer skills and related software (Microsoft Office, Salesforce, etc).
Ability to organize and manage projects.
Ability to work additional required overtime, which could include storm work over multiple days.
Position requires some travel.
Demonstrated history of working safely without injury or accident.
Ability to learn and apply Company policies and procedures.
Possess excellent customer service skills with demonstrated analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Ability to make decisions consistent with good business practices.
Ability to perform independently of direct supervision.
Self-motivated and dependable team player.
Ability to meet the public in a pleasant and tactful manner and understand the importance of delivering a high-level of customer service.
Demonstrated acceptance of a diverse and inclusive work environment and customer base.
Ability to recognize opportunities for process improvement and have the ability to enact change.
Customer Care System (CCS or CIS) and/or Agent Information System application skills.
Comfortable with social media applications.
