Energy Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Energy Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for individuals with 2+ years of experience in energy auditing, ASHRAE auditing, and energy efficiency assessments. As an Energy Engineer, you will play a crucial role in analyzing building systems, identifying energy-saving opportunities, and helping clients optimize their energy usage while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive energy audits for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings, including ASHRAE Level I, II, and III audits.Analyze building systems, including HVAC, lighting, insulation, and building envelope, to identify areas for energy efficiency improvements.Provide recommendations for energy-saving measures, including equipment upgrades, system optimization, and energy conservation strategies.Perform energy modeling and analysis to evaluate the impact of proposed energy efficiency improvements.Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, energy-saving opportunities, cost-benefit analysis, and recommendations.Work closely with clients to explain audit findings, answer questions, and develop action plans for energy efficiency improvements.Support the development and implementation of energy management plans.Assist in the preparation of energy efficiency project proposals and cost estimates.Stay current with industry best practices, energy standards, and emerging technologies to provide innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.2+ years of experience in energy auditing, including ASHRAE Level I, II, and III audits.Familiarity with energy efficiency standards, regulations, and building codes.Experience with energy modeling software and analysis tools.Strong understanding of building systems, energy consumption, and conservation strategies.Ability to interpret energy data and prepare detailed, actionable reports.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to travel to various client sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certifications such as CEM (Certified Energy Manager), LEED, or other related certifications.Experience with energy simulation software (e.g., EnergyPlus, eQUEST, etc.).Knowledge of renewable energy systems and their integration with building systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $110000.00
